‘Crossroads’ with teacher Glen Muir and the certificate they received

Two teams represented AIC at the Central Auckland Region Business Plan Presentations of the Young Enterprise Scheme. The business plan explains the business idea, company setup and how the team plans to produce, market and sell their product. It also shows projected costs and expected profits. Using information from the business plan, students then pitch their business idea to a panel of outside judges.

One of the teams ‘Echo,’ was highly commended for its innovative idea and the judges were extremely complimentary about the marketability of their product. The second team ‘Crossroads’ was awarded first place, and will go on to compete in the national competition later in the year. Congratulations to the both teams for representing AIC so well and to Mr Muir for his hard work in assisting and guiding these teams.
