Teacher of Biology - Fixed term, part time

We are seeking an experienced NZ registered teacher of Biology. Initially a part time load of approximately 0.2 FTTE for two terms with the possibility of an extension depending on student numbers in the next academic year. Position commences 24 January, 2017. Teacher of English, Permanent, Part Time

We are seeking an experienced NZ registered teacher of English. Whilst experience of teaching IB English B would be an advantage it is not essential as IB professional development will be provided as necessary. A knowledge of linguistics would be an advantage as would an interest in teaching the IB Theory of Knowledge course. Initially the part time load will be between 60 – 70% FTTE with the possibility of an increase in the future. Position commences 24 January, 2018.

AIC ACCOMMODATION SUPERVISORS

AIC Boarding requires week and weekend supervisors. AIC Boarding provides a home for Year 11 – Year 13 students living away from home. We are an English speaking community with staff and students from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. In the position you will provide student support, supervise students, and provide assistance to the Accommodation Managers.

Requirements for the position are as follows;

  • Have a genuine interest in young people from international backgrounds
  • Any nationality welcome, but a high command of English is essential
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • Show initiative and be able to manage yourself
  • Preferred to have previous experience in a boarding school or hostel environment
  • Be willing to undertake job specific training
  • Drivers’ License preferred

First Aid Training is preferred but we are committed to training staff if courses have expired or requirements are not met. The successful candidate will be police vetted.
