AIC ACCOMMODATION SUPERVISOR

Auckland International College requires a supervisor for its boarding house located in Avondale.

AIC Boarding provides a home for secondary students living away from home. We are an English speaking community with staff and students from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. In the position you will provide student support, supervise students as per roster, and provide assistance to the Accommodation Manager.

Position is as follows:

  • Have a genuine interest in young people from international backgrounds, along with a good understanding and tolerance of teenagers.
  • Any nationality welcome, bilingual skills an advantage with a high command of English – written and oral.
  • A current full driver’s licence.
  • Previous experience in a boarding school or hostel environment preferable.
  • Effective communication, listening and organizational skills. A presentable and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Current First Aid Certificate – Training provided if needed.
  • Approximate 25 to 30 hours.
  • Rostered duties including weekends.
